Dustin Burkhard has over 15 years of management and leadership experience in the electric power industry. His experience in the power industry has covered many disciplines including Natural Gas, Wind, Waste Coal, Coal, and Biomass.
At Olympus Power, Mr. Burkhard is currently responsible for managing the assets throughout the East Coast and assisting the business development team in the evaluation of possible acquisitions for Olympus.
Mr. Burkhard started his power industry career at the Delta Person facility, a GE 7FA combustion turbine site in Albuquerque NM as an Instrument and Control technician. During Mr. Burkhard’s time there he transitioned to the Plant Manager of that facility. The facility in NM was sold to the local utility and Mr. Burkhard moved to Pennsylvania with Olympus to take on a Plant Engineer position at the Panther Creek waste coal facility. Since that time Mr. Burkhard has also worked within the Olympus fleet as an Operation Manager, Project Manager, Asset Manager, and General Manager at multiple facilities as needed.
