Robert Dixon has more than thirty years of experience in the Information Technology industry, focusing on project management, system implementations and acquisition integrations.
At Olympus Power, Mr. Dixon designs, develops and manages the Information Technology infrastructure. He is responsible for WAN/LAN installations, Email and VOIP implementations, accounting system integrations, network security, web development and application support. His experience in the power industry includes NERC CIP compliance, implementation of plant maintenance management systems (Maximo, Mainsaver, MVP One and MP2) support for Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (Stack Vision and Vim) and their integration with other plant information systems (PI & DCS) .
Prior to joining Olympus Power, Mr Dixon was the Manager of Information Technology for Olympus’s predecessor entity, Delta Power Company, where he managed the IT infrastructure for twenty five locations throughout the U.S.
Prior to Delta Power, Mr. Dixon was the Information Technology Manager for United American Energy, where he was responsible for the planning, coordinating, designing and managing of all its Information Technology operations.
Mr. Dixon holds a Master of Science degree in Information Systems from Marist College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Oneonta.
